Coolbinia Primary was one of six finalists recognised for the 2021 Governor’s STEM Award.

Marble Bar Primary School received the Meritorious Leadership Award for their Two-way Science program, while Harrisdale Primary School won the Leadership Excellence Award for their whole of school, inquiry-based ‘Future-focused Learning’ framework.

To be recognised as a finalist was a great achievement for all the work done here at Coolbinia by the staff, students and our wider community. We certainly are at the forefront of where the future lies and in providing that 21st Century learning for our students.

At the award ceremony held on Monday 15 November at Government House, Coolbinia Primary was thanked “for being an advocate for STEM and sharing [our] journey”.  More information about the Finalists and the Governor’s School STEM Awards program is available at here.

Well done to all involved.
