You may have already noticed the new signs in the student gardens.  These feature the Noongar six seasons and garden bed room numbers.  The signs showcase the art of our preprimary kids as well as Yr 2s & 3s, from the workshops they did with Sharyn Egan, Noongar artist.

The signs were paid for with a Wastewise grant (Waste Authority) because they used recycled metal.  Sharyn’s workshops were paid for from the River Rangers budget and a PALS (Dept of Aboriginal Affairs) grant.  The whole project cost over $3000 and the results are really wonderful.

Congratulations and many thanks to the students and teachers from rooms ELC4&5, 3, 4, 5 & 9) who participated in this project.
