On Sunday 11 March, some of the Coolbinia Roots and Shoots Club members attended the annual Roots & Shoots Conference at Perth Zoo.  Members learnt about animal enrichment ‘toys’, they enjoyed keeper talks, and had a lot of fun taking animal photos and watching an elephant have a massage while painting!

Roots & Shoots meets on Thursday lunchtimes and members engage in a variety of outdoor activities led by Dr Lewis.  Last week members (from Years 1-5) revitalised the hanging baskets, while this week they will assist in the school greenhouse.   What a fabulous group of Roots & shoots members we have this year!  Thanks for caring for our school grounds.
